For the Alfredo sauce:

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup dry white wine

2 cups heavy cream

2 cups (8 ounces) Parmesan cheese, shredded

Salt and pepper (to taste)

1οΈβ£ Prepare the Pasta and Broccoli
πΉ Bring 4 quarts of salted water to a boil in a large pot.
πΉ Add the pasta and cook until al dente (about 9 minutes).
πΉ Drain the pasta, but reserve the cooking water. Set pasta aside.
πΉ Return the reserved cooking water to a boil.
πΉ Add broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes, until bright green and tender.
πΉ Immediately plunge the broccoli into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Drain and set aside.
